One Nowra shopper is now Set for Life after winning the First Prize of $20,000 a month for 20 years in last night’s draw.
But NSW Lotteries has yet to confirm the First prize with the registered winner, so exactly how the ongoing windfall will be used has yet to be revealed.
The winning entry for Set for Life draw 818 on Wednesday 1 November 2017 was bought from Sturgiss Newsagency, 110-112 Junction Street, Nowra.
It’s the eighth Set for Life winner in New South Wales since the game was launched in August 2015.  The Nowra winner will join 26 other national winners who are already enjoying their monthly instalments of the 20-year Set for Life windfall.
Since 1 July 2017, there have been seven Set for Life First Prize winners across Australia – more than one every three weeks!
Sturgiss Newsagency owner Greg Sturgiss said the outlet was thrilled to have sold the entry that snared the latest Set for Life First Prize.
“We’re over the moon for our lucky winner!” he exclaimed.
“We’re always happy to be part of changing someone’s life for the better.  Congratulations to the winner!

“We’ve had a good success rate of selling winning entries since the outlet opened almost 30 years ago.  We have a whole wall of wealth in the store showing our wins and we’re excited to be adding a Set for Life First Prize winner to the list!”
