Almost a month after the draw, a Newcastle man has finally pulled his winning ticket out of his wallet to discover he is now Set for Life.

The New South Wales family man is looking forward to a mouth-watering prize of $20,000 a month for 20 years.

“This ticket has just been in my wallet, and the other day I came across it again and thought I’d better check it. I couldn’t believe it when I saw I’d won division one,” he laughed.

A Salisbury mother who always vowed she would win the lottery one day  finally got to answer the phone to the life-changing news of a million-dollar Saturday Gold Lotto windfall.

The Queenslander was on her way to work when she took the call revealing she was a newly-minted millionaire.
