In case you missed it: Powerball lightning strikes again and 100 Aussies Set for Life!
While the temperatures might be getting cooler across the country, the major lottery wins are only getting hotter – especially for Powerball and Set for Life!
Check it out in this week’s winning highlights.
Riverina farmer rounds up division one prize
A Riverina woman working on her farm received a phone call she’d never forget – revealing she won $20,000 a month for 20 years in Set for Life!
She is also the 100th division one winner in Set for Life since the game first began in 2015.
In complete disbelief, she explained she hadn’t had a chance to check her emails yet and was busy with her farm’s flock!
“I’d love to go on a holiday, look after my kids and buy a new home!” she exclaimed.
Powerball winners claim their $40M prize and search begins for new mystery winner
We were kept in suspense as last week’s $40 million division one winners took a few days to check their tickets.
“Oh my! I’m in complete shock! I went to claim the prize at head office and it’s all a blur. It’s life-changing,” the New South Wales winner proclaimed.
“The pandemic has put a pause on our life for quite some time now, so we’re truly grateful for this win.”
But Powerball wasn’t done yet. Last night’s $4 million prize was won by a Quakers Hill player, so we’re on the hunt again for our newest mystery winner. Make sure you check your tickets!
Singleton mother almost falls over during winning phone call
A Singleton mother who returned home from grocery shopping was floored with a winning phone call revealing she bagged a million-dollar Monday & Wednesday Lotto win.
“Oh my god! Are you joking? I’m about to fall over. I’m shaking, I can’t believe this. I need five minutes to decompress. Wow, just wow! This changes absolutely everything,” she screamed.
“I’ve always said to my husband, if we were ever fortunate enough to win, we would still live life humbly. I have to give him a phone call straight away – he’ll be beside himself!”
Generous grandfather to share the love
A Bayview man plans to share most of his $200,000 Lucky Lotteries windfall with his family and various charities close to his heart, only keeping a ‘few dollars’ for himself.
“I’m feeling quite shocked if I’m honest with you! I thought I was seeing things or that it was a joke when I checked the results and realized I’d won $200,000,” he said.
“I’ll keep a little bit for myself, but I’ll share the majority of the winnings with my family who have mortgages. This money will do wonderful things for my family and a few charities too.
We can’t wait to see what is in store for us next week. Have a winning week!
