If you mark your own lottery numbers, is there a special meaning behind them?

One of our winners this week took home a major lottery prize using the same numbers that scored division one, eight years ago!

Check it out in this week’s winning highlights.

Lottery inspiration leads to million-dollar win

A Wardell retiree has landed himself a million-dollar Lotto win in a Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw by using the same set of lottery numbers he saw score division one eight years ago!

The New South Wales man admitted the lottery numbers he used to play weren’t doing him any favours, so he decided to switch things up!

“On Wednesday, 23 April 2014, the same set of lottery numbers won division one in Monday & Wednesday Lotto. Ever since, I’ve been playing the same numbers every Wednesday!” he said.

“I wasn’t having much luck with the numbers I was initially playing and decided to copy them. I guess it worked out! I’ve been playing lottery games since 1983, so it feels incredible.”

Two division one syndicate windfalls in a week!

Ten Rosebud lottery players are looking forward to seeing their bank account blossom after sharing a million-dollar division one win in a Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.

Each syndicate member takes home an incredible $100,597.39.

Meanwhile, over in South Australia, ten Reynella lottery players started the week on cloud nine after their syndicate entry scored $71,000 in the weekend’s Super 66 draw.

Each member of the syndicate is looking forward to $7,182.23.

Lucky Lotteries windfall prompts Queanbeyan West tradie to clock off

The revelation of a life-enhancing $100,000 win in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot had prompted a Queanbeyan West man to put down the tools and clock off from work earlier than expected.

When we called to reveal the joyous news, the hard-working winner was beside his boss travelling in a car!

“You’re sh****** me! Oh, that’s unreal! I’m shaking! One hundred thousand dollars? Wow! This is wonderful news. I’ve been playing for a long time, so it’s nice to have a major lottery win,” he cheered.

“I’m currently in the car with my boss and we’re working. I don’t think I’ll be able to concentrate for the rest of the day. I’ll have to knock off early.”

Have a winning week!
